Estos suministran tanto a los usuarios no informáticos como a los analistas, programadores o al administrador los medios necesarios para describir recuperar y manipular los datos almacenados en la base, manteniendo su integridad, confidencialidad y seguridad.

DataBase Managment System: Un DBMS debe contener sus 3 partes fundamentales de la base de datos las cuales son, definición, manipulación y utilización.

Lenguaje SQL, Lenguaje de Definición de Datos(DLL): El Lenguajes de Definición de Datos, existe un conjunto de instrucciones o comandos que permitan crear las estructuras de las bases de datos. Aquí se especifica los elementos de daos que integran a la base de datos, su estructura y las relaciones que existen entre ellos, las reglas de integridad semántica, los controles a efectuar antes de autorizar el acceso a la base de datos, así como las características de tipo físico y las vistas lógicas de los usuarios.

Lenguaje SQL, Manipulación de Datos (DML): La función de manipulación permite al usuario de la base, informáticos o no; buscar, añadir, suprimir o modificar los datos, siempre de acuerdo con las especificaciones y las normas de seguridad dictadas por el administrador. Al conjunto de instrucciones de este tipo se le conoce como lenguajes de manipulación de datos (DML)
Diseño de base de datos: Es necesario establecer un procedimiento de diseño de las estructuras de la base de datos, para evitar errores.
El diseño se divide en diferentes niveles
  • Conceptual
  • Lógico
  • Físico

Modelo Entidad-Relación:
Un modelo propuesto por Peter P. Chen en diferentes artículos en el año de 1976. Consiste en un modelo de representación del mundo real que consiste en entidades y relaciones.
  • Entidades
    • Es aquel objeto (Real o Abstracto) el cual queremos almacenar información en nuestra base de datos. Es como un lugar, cosa, suceso o persona, ya sea real o abstracto, de interés para la empresa. La estructura genérica se denomina tipo de entidad, mientras que las ocurrencias de este tipo son denominadas entidades. Es representada con un Rectángulo.
  • Relación
    • Describe cierta dependencia entre entidades o permite la asociación de las mismas.
    Por ejemplo:
    Si tenemos dos entidades, CLIENTE y HABITACIÓN, podemos entender la relación entre ambas al tomar un caso concreto (ocurrencia) de cada una de ellas.
    Entonces, podríamos tener la ocurrencia Habitación 502, de la entidad HABITACIÓN y la ocurrencia Henry Johnson McFly Bogard, de la entidad CLIENTE, entre las que es posible relacionar que la habitación 502 se encuentra ocupada por el huésped de nombre Henry Johnson McFly Bogard
En este curso se dará uso a un paquete completo de desarrollo llamado WampServer, este paquete nos proporciona en una sola instalación ("Apache2, PHP, MySQL, phpMyadmin, entre otros paquetes").
Instalación:
  • Una vez descargador, ejecutamos como administrador.
  • Seleccionamos el idioma, presionamos siguiente.
  • Aceptamos los términos y condiciones, presionamos siguiente, siguiente.
  • Y por último instalar, esperamos que termine el proceso y le damos cerrar.
  • Una vez finalizada la instalación, procedemos a abrir WampServer.
  • Nos saldrá un icono en la barra de tareas.
  • WampServer posee 3 estados, Activo, Incompleto y Inactivo.

    Incompleto
    Inactivo
  • Al presionar el icono de WampServer podremos activar o desactivar servicios, si harás uso de MySQL lo mejor es que actives todos los servicios.
